Abhi Narvekar is the founder and CEO of The FerVID Group, a Houston executive recruiting and leadership coaching firm. Abhi Narvekar is the founder and CEO of The FerVID Group, a Houston-based executive recruiting and leadership coaching firm he started in 2010. FerVID places leaders from manager through C-suite across software, industrial automation, utilities, pharma, manufacturing and energy, and Abhi has personally coached more than 100 of them. He began his career as a production engineer in Mumbai, then moved to the US, earned an MS in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University, and led operations and product work at SLB and Petris before leaving a corporate title to build his own firm. That path, with its share of uncomfortable moments, is the story behind his keynote, Step Out of Your Comfort Zone. On stage, Abhi pairs a real story with practical tools such as the Wheel of Life and its CIO and HR variants, and his sessions for HR leaders show how to put a dollar figure on leadership gaps and succession risk. His work has been featured in Forbes, SHRM, PPDM and the Houston Business Journal. He is writing a book on change and reinvention.

He started his career as a production engineer in Mumbai, came to the US for graduate school, and worked in operations and product management before walking away from a corporate title to start his own firm, The FerVID Group, in Houston. He has coached more than a hundred leaders, and his work has been featured in Forbes, SHRM and the Houston Business Journal.
